La La Land

Chus Antón & Cristian Rodríguez

La La Land is the first book of the photographer Chus Antón. Chus travelled to Los Angeles to relive his legends, trace his journeys, and feel his presence, his absence, his energy. He needed to break down the barrier between the mental space and the physical space, to capture the scenarios of the collective imaginary in a crude way and devoid of any ornament.  The photographs dialogue with the text of Cristian Rodríguez, and demonstrate that the image is not the same with or without complementary information.
