Commissioned by TBA21–Academy and building on the artist’s recent performance work and research on the seas, Moving Off the Land II (2019) pays tribute to the oceans and their creatures, biodiversity, and delicate ecology. Curated by Stefanie Hessler, the installation brings together drawings, sculptures, video installations, and sound works centering on the oceans as a totemic, spiritual, and ecological touchstone.
